Law and theatre come together in a unique CLE experience this month with "Legally Blonde: The Musical." Join us at Rose Theatre on Sunday, July 14 for a 2 p.m. performance of "Legally Blonde," followed by a panel discussion on eliminating gender bias in the legal profession.The discussion, moderated by Barbara Glesner Fines, will include strategies and insights on promoting gender equity within the legal profession.     UMKC School of Law successfully completed its 5th annual Pro Bono Non-Profit Legal Clinic. The clinic was run in partnership with KANSAS LEGAL SERVICES, INC., Mid-America Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), Koch Capabilities LLC, Terracon and Stinson LLP. Nearly 30 attorneys helped 13 nonprofits in areas such as corporate governance, intellectual property, real estate and employment issues.“We are grateful for the annual Nonprofit Legal Clinic offered by Stinson LLP and UMKC. Their legal expertise has been instrumental in building our capacity as a nonprofit organization allowing us to focus on what matters most: advancing our mission and driving positive change in the communities we serve. Thank you for providing this invaluable legal clinic to Kansas City nonprofits," said Kelsey M. Dachman, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA the Founder and Executive Director for the Center for Supportive Communities.
