Qualificationsfor Admission to the BA (Honours) Program: Program for Admission Based on Merit
Both program-specific eligibilityrequirements and general eligibility requirements must be met by students whowish to apply for admission to UG level programs. To find out if you meet theminimal requirements for UG admissions, follow these steps:
GenerallyAcceptable
Students must have passed their mostrecent qualifying exam with an overall score of at least 45%.
Three other academic courses and onelanguage subject will be used to determine or evaluate merit. Lists A and B ofthe admissions brochure will list the same.
If you choose to take any subjectsother those on Lists A and B, you risk losing 2.5% of your overall scores foreach subject, which will be divided among the top four subjects.
The student must decide on one corecourse as their area of specialization before applying for admission. If youdon't follow suit, the final percentage will be reduced by 2.5 percent.
