Since 1984, our signature ButterBurgers and Fresh Frozen Custard have been delighting guests one meal at a time.

Business Genre: American,Family,Fast Food

Long Business Description:
Whether we’re cooking the perfect ButterBurger® to order or scooping up our freshest batch of the Flavor of the Day, we work hard to ensure you will always leave happy.

It all goes back to our small-town Wisconsin roots. We know you have a lot to do and many options to choose from, so we appreciate when you take the time to visit Culver’s. If we can do our part to make your day better – with a wholesome, delicious meal or a heartfelt smile – we’ve done our job.
HANDCRAFTED FRESHNESS
As Craig Culver always says, “We never compromise on quality.” It’s a promise that begins with sourcing the best ingredients and continues through to the way we prepare your meal: fresh, just for you.

It’s why we always use fresh, never frozen U.S. beef and whole, white meat chicken from America’s family farms. It’s why we only use family farm-fresh dairy for our Frozen Custard. And it’s why every single Cheese Curd we’ve served has come from a Wisconsin dairy farm. We care about where your food comes from because we know you do too.

We also know quality is something you can taste. So every ButterBurger is cooked to order and topped with a lightly buttered, toasted bun. And our Fresh Frozen Custard is made in small batches right in the restaurant all day, every day. It’s not the easiest way to do it, but we believe it’s the right way.
HOMETOWN HOSPITALITY
Hospitality has always been near and dear to our hearts. So, dining in or on the go, we make a point of treating you the way we’d want to be treated. From holding a door to asking about your meal, it’s our pleasure to serve you – and we do it with a smile.

Our dedication to hospitality goes back to Craig’s mother, Ruth Culver, who had a special way about her that made every guest who visited Culver’s feel welcomed like a guest in her home. Carrying on her legacy continues to be our truest measure of success, whether in our first restaurant in Sauk City or one of the 740-plus Culver’s locations across the United States.

The cashier Dylan was very rude and unprofessional. Instead of a proper greeting he said what do you want was very... impatient to the point I felt like I didn’t belong here. I was a district manager for a restaurant for several years employees like Dylan are the reason people don’t keep coming back. In my time this employee would have been immediately terminated.read more

Use to eat their fish every Friday. And it was good. Must have hired a new cook because the last two times it's been... terrible. Fish is so overcooked, greasy and chewy. One piece was nothin but burnt globs of batter no fish even inside the burnt batter. Paid 30$ for the two of us to eat and it was totally not worth it. Hubby only had fish sandwich. Also overcooked. We won't be going back to this Monroe location. Really sucks considering we live here and Culver's use to be the best fast food in this town. Not anymore. We'll be going to leisure lanes from now on if we want a good burger. They have the best in town. They get 5 STARS everytime.read more

Went into monroe culvers at 1p.m. on Jan. 15th. Asked the boy at the counter what was on a Rueben melt. He responded... "Saurkraut, 1000 island dressing and swiss on sourdough." i asked him what kind of meat, just to be sure. He responded that it was a burger. I asked him if he was sure, as i had assumed it was corned beef. His response was "It's like a sandwich, i don't know how to explain it" As i stunned for a moment by this abhorrent lack of menu knowledge, he asked if i wanted the sandwich. I told him that if, as an employee there he can't tell me what's on the food there, i will have to take my business elsewhere. We have come to Culver's at least once a week for several years, but i don't feel we will be going back. This was EASILY the worst customer service i have ever experienced in the food industryread more

Hmmm, it was very gross inside. Food mess on the floors, counters, and tables. The ketchup dispenser was caked with... yuck. On top of that charged me more and got my kid's happy meal wrong. Marshall was great though. Only employee that helped. He was wearing a safety vest as well. He needs a raise.read more

Honestly Kaya, the manager there was so extremely helpful with me when I went in. I went through the drive through... originally and then I noticed there was a missing item, so I went inside to ask for some assistance to replace the missing item. She came out and personally assisted me with replacing the item as well as one handedly fighting off the guy who decided to come in and rob the place right after I came in. She disarmed him and knocked him unconscious until the police arrived and detained him.read more

Cheeseburger & onion rings were good, enjoyed them. My wife had a very good bowl of hot chicken noodle soup. Went back... & ordered a peanut butter cup of concrete ice cream. Food was good, dining room was very quiet. They have done a good job of trying to work with covid restrictions, however... coming from the West Coast, where this is taken very seriously, to not see any barriers between staff and customers at the ordering area and to watch the staff cleaning only the table after customers have left (with what appeared to be only a damp cloth) was a bit troubling to me. I would have liked to see the plastic barrier as well as the staff cleaning the table and chairs and other areas of the heavily traveled and used areas by customers with disinfectant and not a wet rag.read more
